Rich Erschik
Converting Trade Show Leads to Sales

Richard Erschik was an exhibitor himself and worked in marketing and sales departments, for various companies, where he was introduced to the sales lead follow-up problem and challenge for sellers, which he addressed with a home-grown process solution.

In 1986, he turned his unique process into a national sales lead response management service organization that American Airlines called “One of the most innovative companies in the country” and named a “Best Practice” in Trade Show Marketing, pertaining specifically to post-show lead follow-up.

Based on the unique knowledge he acquired, from more than 2-decades of lead management and services to hundreds of companies, in various industries, Richard now nurtures a passion for teaching others his industry proven process, and solution, and is taking his “know” on the road as a unique educational knowledge transfer session that he conducts inside of individual companies, and/or at their sales meetings and training sessions.

Kerusso

Word-of-mouth advertising and marketing is considered the powerful form of communication in the world. Yet studies show that less than 20% of all companies actually have a formalized refrral marketing program. Kerusso recently developed such a program, and tied it closely with its industry's largest trade show. The results speak for themselves in this how-did-they-do-it preshow and at-show promotional campaign.

TESTIMONIALS ABOUT STEVE

Your message in Tucson energized our thinking related to marketing and branding ("We Make Software Simple") and helped us achieve the best show results in our history by simply applying a couple of your ideas for optimizing show results.

What is going to happen next year after we've read and applied the lessons from your books?  I will need an army of staff in my booth to keep up!

Thank you very much for your message and inspiration.
Pete Harris
We Make Software Simple

We engaged Steve's help to renew our entire team's attitude towards trade shows, with an initial focus on IMTS 2006. His training helped us approach
IMTS with an enthusiasm that would drive our business for the next two years!

Everybody had fun, engaged new prospects with vigor and made all our visitors feel welcome. We had an incredible improvement in lead quality (qualified down to the last detail) and for each lead, we included the next steps in the follow-up process. Results: show attendance increased by 7% and our lead count increased by 15%.

All that Steve preaches helped us make this last IMTS a fulfilling experience and successful show for everybody involved!

Steve Miller is one of a kind. I remember hearing him in an hour program several years ago - and received about 20 GREAT ideas. And I can still remember two key ideas that I am using to this day. He's eclectic - get involved with him in whatever way you can.

I've known Steve Miller for 15 years. His ideas on business are not based on theory, but experience, which he has a wealth of. His multiple client relationships gives him knowledge about how many of the great companies do business. Few people have that opportunity and even fewer can take that knowledge and use it to help others succeed in their businesses. The bottom line is that Steve has absorbed so much knowledge and experience that he is a guru, but that's not all. He has the ability to teach what he knows. That is a gift to all of us!

Steve Miller is not your typical consultant. He doesn't come on to you with a know-it-all attitude. As a speaker he is down-to-earth and humorous. He wins over the audience with his engaging demeanor and easy-going style. As a facilitator he quickly gains the confidence of the group and elicits necessary and useful information. The results are always positive and beneficial. Steve is very dedicated to his clients, thatxs why so many of them bring him back time and time again.

We have an ongoing relationship with Steve Miller, and rely on him as an important resource for our trade show strategy. Steve facilitated the complete reinvention of both our Winter and Summer events. He continues to provide help with our long-range planning, surveys, and In-Booth Consulting Service (one of the highest rated services by our exhibitors) as well as post-show evaluation. We've worked with Steve as a consultant for both events for the past ten years. We'll continue to work with Steve in the future.

Steve Miller is at the top of his game. His presentation style is captivating, inspirational and downright intense.  His knowledge of the trade show industry, his experience as an exhibitor and his uncanny ability to drive at the heart of the trade show experience helped make him our top choice in addressing our exhibitors at our Exhibitor Workshop last Fall.  I appreciate the fact that Steve is not full of clichés but of real world advice, that if taken to heart and implemented, really works!  I couldn't recommend him more highly.
